I think you were wise. We have a good friend who sews quilts. Every now and then she goes to the quilters fair in Sisters Oregon. She says it’s a a pretty amazing event. Certainly a lot of detail goes into the process.

Someone recommended I ask you, so if you care to...
Can you tell me if all the second generation Taco rear axles are interchangable? Not the complete differential... just the axles?

I need to replace the left side axle on a 2012 Baja Edition w/ traction control.

Also, the traction control light is on and it won't go out after the differential was hit hard. Ideas?

That's a good area, I really like Gallatin it has that small-town feel but still close to the city. I'm about an hour south of there. The Tennessee crew on TW are pretty good folks.

    I don’t think so but I’m not 100%
    Something to do with abs.

I remember doing bearings and seals and having to properly space a tone wheel
    and retainer.
I don’t remember having to space a tone wheel lately.
When you have worked on as many cars as I have You don’t remember details.
    You remember flags.
    Like a little voice.
    Something isn’t right.
So, before you dive in, you do a little research.
Maybe you can but, I wouldn’t unless you can cross reference the axle
    Part# number between years.
Your gonna need bearings and seals anyway so your there.
Trac Control runs off abs wss inputs.
    Could have dinged a wire.
But that should have thrown abs also.
I would however check it before doing a axle.
    Might save a extra disassembly.

    Good morning everyone.

    Sunday. Off work. Raining.

Headed up to N. GA to see our daughter at college. The area got a little snow yesterday evening.

I hope that everyone has a Super Sunday.

Mine scratches at the door to go out at least once in the middle of the night to go out, even if I take her out right before I go to bed. You have to be a light sleeper.

It’s a known fact that pets bring joy to our lives. That may not be true at 0530 in the morning when it’s single digit temperatures. :D

Good morning all. Guessers claim 4-6” of snow today. I would prefer they are wrong and the storm miss me and go out to sea instead.
