That’s to clean the inside of the pistons silly

 

The real crime is my clear coat job, the color paint went on nicely but the clear coat came out all shitty from the spray can. If I have to paint another I would get a proper paint sprayer to do it with, but hopefully I'll come across a radiant red one. I haven't really been looking in awhile but last time I did anything that was reasonably priced was beat to crap.

Toyota wants like $400 for an unpainted oem one

 

All that work and you're using greasy old bolts?

I want to rattle can the 5lug this summer. It's already got a POS license plate, why not a POS paint job.

 

Did you reuse the bolts?

Personally I'm a sucker for some clean electroplated bolt heads

The contrast of yellow bolt heads is always a good touch

 

I just reused the bolts. Too much effort.

Any time I do anything on my trucks or cars I spend at least an embarrassing amount of time cleaning bolts
