All the above.... Can’t be de-pinned, not very watertight, will break over time / with use, not high quality pins. You want something as good if not better than Toyota’s OEM connectors, and that’s not it. I’ve used them in a pinch, but it really is a last resort/ used on something I don’t care much about.
There are literally 1000s to choose from and I showed the bottom and top of the range.

 

anyone have any pics of a BD-4 NMO on their truck, also any review on the durability of the housing with an antenna moving around up there? thanks

 

Not sure if this has been mentioned before, but I didnt see it through the 163 pages of this thread. I painted my KC Cyclones and also bought the acrylic lenses from the guy on ebay who cut them perfectly for me. While getting them ready for install, I noticed 2 of the 5 had less LED's per unit. The only thing I can think of is that my order of 2 white's and 3 reds, the whites have less LEDs? I cant be sure as I had them all out of package and taken apart. I thought the units were all identical but obviously not. Not sure if anyone can chime in on it? to the naked eye I couldnt see a difference in brightness.

just posting what this looks like on the screeni wasnt ready to hook up the camera when i had the time to install the 3rd brake light so i found out a month later it was crooked. i black siliconed it so its not just a unscrew level of job. it'll stay like that possibly for a while ... bigger projects still in the lineup

So you have the front camera, the backup camera, and the echomaster?

 

I have a similar setup, but did it completely differently.
I do have a 3 camera setup like that too, just that my front and echomaster are hooked to a relay and switched using a CH4x4 switch.
I think I did a small-ish writeup somewhere here.

 

@MESO any chance there will be a re-up of the 2nd gen? Sorry Im sure you have been asked this 100 times in this thread.... Just noticed my 3rd Brake light went out last night so no better time to pull the trigger on knocking this out.

 

Do any one know what the 3D printed material is made of? Also I’m planning to spray paint the item, any recommendations with that process with this material?

 

PA12 which is a nylon. They are painted with SEM primer, then SEM chip gaurd. Both are adhered pretty good. If you want to paint them, just give it a good scuff and lay some primer then paint on.
