Saw this in the parking lot of Firebird’s in North Wales while picking up a DoorDash order; 2021 Chevy Suburban Z71!

Those look sharp. Needs to learn how to park that boat though.

I’d take the GMC Yukon AT4 over the Suburban if I were paying for it, but if somebody gave me a new Suburban I would take it!

Actually, I think they parked that way on purpose; Note how there’s snow on the driver’s side...

He wanted to be absolutely sure that nobody parked close to his $80,000 SUV!

That thing resembles a modern Blazer.

    Only the front end...

The Suburban still holds true to its heritage with RWD and body-on-frame construction; The Blazer resembles a bloated Murano!

Agreed, they totally destroyed my idea of what a Blazer should be.

Right, that was what l was referring to, don't like the Blazer at all.

When I was still working at the detail shop (this would have been sometime in the first half of 2019), somebody bought a brand new Blazer RS in red with the black wheels, and I was assigned to detail it; I did not think it was a bad vehicle, but just a misnamed one. Chevy should have given it a new name instead of calling it the Blazer; They should have built a Silverado-based SUV (or perhaps a Colorado-based SUV), or even a retro-style SUV like the Bronco!

Anyway, so it was a nice day and when I finished detailing the Blazer, I pulled it outside for my supervisor to inspect (When it was warm out and not raining, we brought cars outside for the boss and supervisors to give a final once-over).

The guy who was in charge of the entire detail shop had never seen a new “Blazer” in person before and said “This is the ugliest fucking thing I’ve ever seen.” He was historically a MOPAR and Jeep guy, but he liked the old K5 Blazers as well and thought the one I’d just detailed was a travesty; He okayed my detailing job, but just could not stop insulting that Blazer and couldn’t believe that someone spent over forty grand for the damn thing!

@PennSilverTaco I never realized these older 2 Door Yukon's were available with Diesels.

    Really? Tahoes too!

There’s a reason they’re so rare; Those 6.5L diesels were so far behind Cummins and Powerstroke!

I just happened upon an old Motorweek Road Test of one, said they were available up through 1994. I always liked the full size 2 door SUV's!

The Blazer that I detailed and briefly drove looked just like the one in the file photo...

1994 was the first year; They continued to make them until 1997 or 1998...

They were also available in a 5 speed MT with a gas engine, would love to find one of those!

Yukon GTs are not particularly rare, but stick ones are!
