What Have You Done To Your 2nd Gen Tacoma Today?

Cali raised low profile. So far they look like they'll work out fine. I haven't had a chance to really use them yet other than just playing in the driveway.

 

I ordered a set of SDHQ. These two brands seem to be the lowest profile on the market and kick the light pod out the furthest in front of the A-post. Your setup looks really good on your truck.

 

I can't complain about how they sit and they mount up pretty solid. I've always been concerned with ditch lights blocking the view from the drivers seat but they really don't. I've been busy with taking care of some mods that I haven't had a chance to go out and play with them and fine tune the aim but so far no complaints.

Replaced the original battery on my 2010, it was over 10 years old and finally getting weak!

 

The new headlights completely changed the appearance of your truck! They look great, and I'm sure they function so much better now.

 

Enjoyed some wonderful freeway miles with my 5:29 gears on 35’s with the AT 5spd. 2500 RPMS @ 70mph in 5th - FEELS WONDERFUL. Far from “overgeared”. And boy oh boy does she zip around town feeling quick and light. So happy with my decision & can’t wait to wheel it. Pic for attention

 

That's interesting, my truck has the exact same RPM's with 5.29, 37's, AT, GPS'ed 70 mph.

 

Maybe our tire sizes are closer than we think to each other. I’m a HAIR over 2500. Like 2550 maybe. Checked with GPS app 70mph and my speedo reads about 63mph. 5th gear, not any significant up or downhill on a freeway. Absolutely love it

 

I know the truck is slightly tilted but that's some serious rear tire poke! How far do they stick out past the fenders?

 

did you notice a big difference in cab noise with doing just the back wall?

 

I did the same thing. I use like for firewood

 

16x8 -25 + a .75” spacer. It’s a super awesome stance but not ‘outrageous’. My lack of fenders also contributes to the poke

 

Ahh yeah the lack of fender flares really makes them pop out. I'm running the exact same wheel + spacer setup but with the fender flares.

 

Do ya have something holding that shifter boot up? I wish mine looked that good with an after market knob.
