    That's because I wasn't doing your roads

Southerners tend to freak out when it snows, but the biggest factor in it sticking is ground temp.... If the ground isn't freezing, snow will melt on contact and ice won't form.

Might be a little slick on bridges. Maybe.

I'll still throw a couple sandbags in the bed over the axle even having 4wd now. Old habits die hard, and doing so hasn't hurt.

It was a complete mess coming back north from Overland Park this afternoon. People were still trying to go full speed. Ended up passing a couple of them again further on

All the roads here are ice aside from the interstate. They plowed them into a nice sheet of ice thats been polished with the last 2 days of blowing snow.

It’s better driving on the gravel roads in most places over getting on the highway.. plus theres less people on the gravel.

Salt and calcium-chloride takes care of ice.

But snowy gravel is the freaking best.

I haven’t run extra weight for a long time. Between the double cab and falkens, its usually not too bad.

If i really wanted to, i could adjust my tune so its not so powerful down low.. but what fun would that be?

Trucks and all were out today. Something was ringing in my ear not to go out but oh well... It doesn't seem bad so the panda should be back on the road in no time. I'm glad I got the warranty on the tires cause the guard rail destroyed the passenger side tire and I just got them a couple of months ago.

Knowing what I know about the matter of equipment and training for snow removal, I agree with their decision. It takes millions of dollars of equipment and staff to take care of one event. Just calling it a loss and shutting everything down for 2 events a year is actually a gain.

    Hey man the stuff works.

    It destroys ice.
    And the truck.
    And the road.
And the tanks it's stored in.
    And your shoes.
And the rubber seals on the tanks.
    And the spray nozzles.
    And the sensors.

    I mean just..... Buck futter

Oh damn, glad it wasn't worse for ya, buddy.

I actually spun out trying to turn into my driveway yesterday on snow. Had 4HI on which I run every time there is snow. Gotta drive slow and maintain the best control you can.
