Yes and its been hell. Five and a half hours to get home three days in a row. Fun times in the woods!

Any of you fellas with AGM batteries do the diode in the ALT-S circuit thing to boost charging voltage? Any issues with your alternator coming from making it work a bit harder? I’m still throwing on the charger from time to time, but once daughter leaves town with the truck that isn’t going to happen anymore.

 

i have but don’t drive there truck long enough to charge it much so i can’t review it well. Plus with my battery almost ready to replace and my fridge always plugged in, i trickle charge every / every other day.

Ive got northstar in the 4runner and never did anything. Been strong for five years now. I havent got any extras in it except the winch but havent had to use it either.

 

Speaking of winches. I'm kinda looking at options. I loved all the warn winches I've had in the passed but looking at a few two speed options. Other brands and not real sure about them. A little input?
