I’m from Oregon but I work for a construction company out of Boise called ESI, do I have any coworkers in here?

I gotta say.. I love my turd gen, but God damn is the transmission annoying.

Makes me question if I remember how to drive or not. Never had such a hard time staying above 60. Currently looking into tunes :anonymous:

It took OV tune 2.0 and 5.29 gears before I was finally happy with how mine drove...

That sounds like more money than I'd like to spend..Does the OV tune help enough to be worth it, without the gearing?

It's unfortunate because anytime I drive into town, it's 15 miles on a hwy with a speed limit of 65mph

Any chance anyone is planning on going to the Jalopy in Nampa this week? They have an 01 and I'm looking for a bed. Don't really want to drive 2 hours to find out it's trashed.

It's the bed rail supports that are too rotten to hold the weight of the Wildernest. I may just add my own supports but then I'm adding more weight which I'm trying to avoid.

I called this morning and they have it but they were not able to give me any details about it.

Used the adaptive cruise control for the first time today. What a trip o_O That will be really nice when I visit Washington this year.

Yeah I regret not playing with it sooner (like idk, maybe on the trip back home from picking it up in Pullman).. Coming from the 1st gen, this was my first experience with cruise control. Learn something new every day. Haha

Curious... you all think I could apply the TACOMA decals to my tailgate in these temps in the garage? When I get in the truck, the temp usually reads low 50's, when its 40's outside... Im getting impatient on some exterior accessory mods I want to do, but dont want to fuck it up.
Wanted to Plastiderp my emblems also.... yea nea?

Was curious about the plastidip.... Ive seen a ton of youtube videos, and self proclamations that state its amazing and lasts forever....
I was on the fence between that and buying OEM black emblems....

I bought these overlay emblems. I haven't installed them yet, because winter.. but they seem like they are good quality.

I would not recommend it for wheels. My Wildernest is plastidipped and it's faded to more of a gray than black. I did my badges while still on the truck 4 years ago and they are holding up alright. I used tan and it's also changed sjades. As for temps I'd just use a heat gun and I think you'll be fine. I just spray painted some interior parts of my T100 yesterday in temps in the mid 30s. I'd bring them inside the house after letting them sit for 5 minutes outside to hopefully not bring the paint fumes in the house. They turned out fine for now. Can't speak to longevity though.

Anybody have experience with either Toyota dealer in the valley & service? I want to take my truck in for an ECU flash (if it isn't already updated). My first choice was LTS but they aren't returning my calls.

Just enough to look kinda cool.
I plasti dipped my fender about 2 years ago and they were looking like crap this spring, pulled as much as I could off but there’s still stuff on the fenders and it just looks like crap. I wouldn’t do it again. But that’s my advice
