    Yup.
    Something like this:
    upload_2021-2-7_11-48-3.jpg

part of my diff blowing up was my cv popping out because of too much droop. So going to limit the down travel so it doesn’t happen again.

Yeah. Going to be using stuff from tmr customs which is pretty local. Just have to wait to install my shocks so I can measure for limit straps.

I was going to do my front end install today but since I changed my front bumper I get alot more snow buried around everything in there. I'll leave it in overnight next weekend and do it when its dry. But its absolutely killing me to have a lift and it not being installed lol

I have to do my install outside in the elements. Although it’s killing me having all my parts waiting, it’s cold and wet out. I can wait lol

I should tell my boss that a couple guys are going to "help" me do the install. End up with 15 different trucks in various stages of repairs lmfao

Do you have a printout from your last alignment shop visit? Maybe there's some thrust angle from the rear axle.

Also make sure you check pulling on a road with no road crown.

No unfortunately. They claim that they deleted it. I have the bill. $145.25 and it just lists a front end alignment. 20210207_121941.jpg

I went back twice and asked them to check it again and was told that it was well within spec. They just lost my buisness over a simple $145. My wife bought her intrepid, Durango and both challengers from them. Idk how much they make on the sale of a new car but they lost the chance to sell us another one

It's possible for the alignment to be in spec (i.e. OK for tire wear) but still pull slightly at higher speeds. That's why the printout is helpful.

As you know there isn't any adjustment on the rear suspension to correct for thrust angle. However, the tech can bias the front toe to compensate for it.

With 330,000 kms on the truck, make sure the ball joints and control arm bushings don't have play.

Thank you for the advice. New lower control arms with the new frame couple years ago. I'm thinking that for the money it costs... why not change ball joints and bushings when I put my lift in. The front end should be as good as new

Here’s my last printout, which looks decent from a numbers perspective. But I believe @3JOH22A is a bit of an alignment whisperer, wonder what you see....796CE4FC-E38B-45B1-B5E9-E32A6AD69C1B.jpg

Road crown is an important factor to note!

A lot of people don’t take this into consideration. Thanks for pointing it out!

    Mostly stock for now...
Yup, nothing worse than working in the "Big Sky" shop at this time of year - You can't even take advantage of being a "Shade Tree Mechanic" when there's no leaves on the trees. :annoyed:
I don't even have a paved driveway - always fun when a bolt falls and disappears into the grass or gravel...

Anyone have any use for a gallon and a quarter of Coleman camp fuel? Free. Porch pick up in Acton.

My shop is tiny so it’s good that my taco is tiny. The old girl is all tucked away hiding from salt for the rest of the winter.

Have to get my ass in gear for my major project which is removing all 4 fender flares. Purchased all new clips from Toyota. I will remove liners as well because I need to do an inspection and probably some paint work on fender wheel well lips to keep potential rust at bay.
