Has anyone installed on a 2nd gen? I don't need install help but I haven't seen a single post online about where people mounted the panel and such. I'm just looking for ideas to point me in the right direction.

Lol, it’s as crazy as you want to make it. I spent a lot of time putting mine together, but it was worth it in the end. I got all the parts and pieces and put it together one summer afternoon like a model car or something out on the back porch.

Yea, its not too hard if you've done any sort of electrical work (12V), you'll have no problem. There's youtube videos and SwitchPros has instruction vids on their website. The PowerTrays setup is nice...its what I have as well. Figuring out where to mount the switch panel is more personal preference. I already had my Ham radio head unit in one of the eyeglass holders, so the switch pro when next to the center cupholder.

Clean, that’s where I’ll probably end up mounting mine.

So any other mounting options for the button panel beside the ceiling mount for gen 2?

Yeah i saw that one also. Not really liking that position. Was curious if they had a dash mount for the gen 2 like they do for gen 3

I haven’t seen one. Have a spot you like your phone? Hide the controller and run it Bluetooth through your phone. Apple CarPlay? You can download the app and run it off your head unit.

Oh yeah I like that! Did you have to drill hole to that cubby to thread the wire to the button panel?

I thought about doing that too but I think I'd like to have the security of a dedicated panel of buttons.
