Here we have a cut they call country style that are just boneless beef rib cuts and they're fucking amazing and I buy them all the time. We didn't have that cut where we lived before so I don't know how common it is.

Rob will probably take care of it all himself but we'll see. It'll wait till the spring either way since the last thing we want to do is turn off our water in the middle of winter if we don't have to.

We moved one of our thermostats under the house where it froze and can already see the temp coming back up. I think the vent being open was our downfall so hopefully we're fine for the rest of winter. We're supposed to have much colder nights this week than what we had last night so it'll be a good test

If there is any way possible to get rid of the softener I would try to do that. We had one for several years and it was a huge pita. We finally got city water in my neighborhood and I was the first to sign up. (Sorry that this was of no help at all).
Possibly try to bi-pass the softener for a day or two and see if you really need it? Our water looked like mud before the softener but wasn't much better after the softener either.

That's what it was. Our water was total shit.

Pressure tank,filter ,softener then it goes everywhere else . With a shut offs to bypass filter and softener if needed .

 

My basement is kind of nasty

 

I also have the softener set to regenerate every morning at 3AM . And about once or twice a year I manually regenerate after adding Iron-Out to the brine well .

 

I change my filter every month . $32 every time . Goes in pure white comes out orange brown .
