Made a Azorean style pork and bean dish last night that I will have today. In a bit, I am doing Shrimp Mozambique. So kind of a Portuguese spread at the moment but may make some grilled cheese too. Obviously got some chips and salsa too.

    Those wheels 16" or 17"?
    If they're 17's I think I buy 245 70R17 to maintain my 245 75R16 odometer on the steel wheels...

got these for $250 . If I had the money I would refinish the old rims and put new tires , but that’s looking at $1300 . My manager/ wife won’t have that even though I make enough to do it . So ..... should I decide to rid of they will be up for grabs

    So Here's what I did..
Went with a HD Radio Cd/ Ipod USB head unit. KDC-BT752HD
Bought the Metra controller for the steering wheel controls.
    Bought The Powerpack AMP
Bought Component speakers with crossovers and tweeters
    Bought decent speaker wire
Crutchfield gives you a bunch of install stuff including a free dash kit
    Get the posi products connecters

So It looks like single din CD stereos are in short supply based on the inventory I'm seeing out of stock.

I just cleared about 4 to 5 in providence. Light fluffy stuff.

keep me posted if @TreeFortRichard doesn’t want them I might. I’m looking to set up a set of 6 matching I don’t give a rip what they look like.

old man - get those cds on an iPhone/pulled over and use Bluetooth.

I need that recipe I have 8.5 lbs of pork loin in the fridge I’m cutting up tonight and freezing most of it.
you’d think I’d have a set of those being from Maine and all. They’re cheap I might get a set. Dog park is getting dicey.

I had these rubber slip on over your shoe things that worked ok but the spikes were mounted in a dayglow orange disk that slides into an opening in the rubber and the rubber would stretch when you were walking and needed grip and the little spike would pop out.
You'd get back to the truck and notice 1 or 2 are missing and you'd find them in the spring everywhere (because they're el cheap job lot specials and everyone has them..)

Skill level on the install can be anything for a 3 to an 8 depending on how you want to go...This was my crutchfield order. The speakers are Marine so door moisture wouldn't harm them

Ended up about 8" . Lightened up from a couple hours ago and the radar shows about another hour left till the end.

Go 265/70r17, they look great and finally correct the speedometer since apparently getting that right was too difficult for Toyota engineers to figure out...

Just cleared somewhere between 6-8” here, nice and fluffy. Snowblower could manage it walking at a good clip and nice, easy shoveling on the steps and walkway.

Yeah I also know the people who work hockey rinks have what are basically track shoes with spikes on them so they walk on the balls of their feet when they’re on ice. Might see if something like that would work.

yeah it’s quieting down I figure I’ll go out sometime around 8 or so and do a last pass with the shovel. I might not I’ll look first if there’s f all I’ll just leave it if it’ll warm up this week.

edit looked outside. I’ll probably do a pass tonight or in the morning before work. If I wait at least the plowing will be done by then.

edit again just checked radar we’re getting snow until 7 or 8 at least. Will be clean by the AM commute but I’ll probably wait to shovel until morning.

inhave that snowblower thing. It would have done it but with the fluffy stuff my driveway is a 3 car it took me like 10 minutes. It took longer to move cars around than actually shoveling. And the heavy stuff it doesn’t do well with anyway so I think that’s a no go for me. Time to sell it off. Worth a shot glad I tried it. Was a cheap risk 50 bucks on Craigslist.

That's a decent setup for sure. Depending on your taste you might not need a sub.

I still play CDs all the time so nothing wrong with that, better than getting satellite or paying for Pandora etc especially with my taste in music.

I have a single DIN Pioneer I'm very happy with. Up to you re single or double, just a different dash install kit really.

It would definitely be next level with a sub and I've toyed with getting one of the under seat sound ordinance ones...But I get a TON of bass from the door woofers. We're talking door rattles. I mostly listen to podcasts while driving and got sick of not being able to hear with the windows down. Music is next level. The Tweeters are -3db on the cross overs because they were just too bright on the initial install...like nuclear ear deafening..
I need to raam mat this thing still after 4 years.
If I ever trade in the truck it's probably all going back to stock :) I kept all the old crap/
