Has anyone run Lamin-X on the TSS Emblem of their grille? And does anyone know where to source a new TSS Emblem that isn't $300? I was an idiot and dropped my new 2020 grille that I'm installing on my 2019 and it's scratched to hell. Wondering if covering it with Lamin-X would prevent the TSS from operating properly in an attempt to not need to replace the emblem in entirety.

    Pic for attention.

    Thanks!

Run with it. Gives it a little character.

Take a look at this guys Instagram. He makes vinyl overlays. Great quality. I bought two but haven’t had time to take the grille apart to get the emblem off and install the overlay

Is Instagram the only place you can find that guy? I don't have it.

I've had an emblem on mine for about a year with zero issues. Bitch to put on but I love the way it came out. Out of the thousands of dollars I spent on mods, this is probably my favorite other than my Katzskin seats.

I got the hookup from another TW member who gave me his Instagram. Where’d you get your overlay?

When i was getting my windows tinted, I had smoked PPF applied over the sensor. Looks way better IMO and no issues.

Awesome, exactly what I was looking for. I just ordered some Lamin-x tint film and I'll report back.
