Did the mod where I no longer have to wrench in the driveway at the mercy of mother nature.

 

No problem. It’s a bitter sweet way to go out. Sucks that the truck was going to be able to keep going, but still didn’t finish because of something that was out of our control, but it is nice in that we don’t have any major repairs, and the boys had a good time helping get the trucks unstuck, turned around, and out of there once they officially timed out

 

Where abouts?

 

Yes sir, headed to TX to be closer to family. Don’t want to take it because it would be useless in TX, IMO. Plus I don’t want to constantly look at it and think about missing hitting trails.

 

Severance. Only a 13 min drive for the ol' lady to Linton. I work from home so doesn't impact my day to day much. Just improves it.

 

PSA - don't keep valuables in your truck if you park on the street in Denver.

Went out to my car this morning and someone had "broken" into it last night. They either had a bootleg fob to unlock it, or I forgot to lock the doors. I'm very intentional about locking my doors, but it's possible I forgot. Either way, I'm just glad they didn't break glass.

I know Denver has plenty of crimes like this, and it's not the first time my truck was targeted, so I had nothing of value inside. All they got was a small flashlight I got off Amazon.

Here's a shot of action. No video, but the dome lights came on at 2:13 am


Only shitty part is they didn't close my console vault properly and it's spring loaded, so it flipped up after they closed the console lid, and now it's jammed and I can't open my center console . I'll have to get crafty and see if I can pry it open without busting the latch.

Also shout-out to whatever battery I installed like 6 years ago because the dbag left my dome lights on all night and the truck still started up no problem.
