titles between states are kind of a pain sometimes. I had a camper trailer that came from Arizona and it was a headache to get registered here in Iowa.

I sold my motorcycle to @Tigerian and we had to make 3 trips to the dmv to get it titled and registered because even though I had an Iowa title, write up a Bill of sale, had my registration.. they still wanted some other shit to title it in MN.

With the DMVs being closed due to COVID this has been extra fun.

I'll reach back out to the bank and try to get someone on the phone who can help.

Yep in PA you don’t get the title until the vehicle is paid off

Brought the mini back from Japan. Had to import through WI since that’s where the government said it’s final destination was, not just port. Fought to get the car titled in WI, this took 8mo and enough phone calls to be on the first name basis with the folks at the state level DMV. They didn’t like how the Japanese assigned their own VIN, not it’s manufacturer assigned VIN to the car upon its importation there.

Once it was titled in WI, MN was having a similar fit. 4mo later I had a title and collector plates for the car.

Good luck, MN is fucking dumb with their titling requirements.

I moved to Minnesota in September of 2019. My vehicle was under a loan at the time and the title was held in New Mexico by the bank. When I registered here I told them I didn’t have the title but they accepted my New Mexico registration document as proof of ownership for registration only (plates and stickers).

I couldn’t get a Minnesota title until I paid off my loan in New Mexico and the bank sent me the title. It’s kind of an even trade concept... give them registration documents and they’ll let you get registration. Give them a title and they’ll give you a MN title.

A classic mini will be my next project once my truck is all built up. And as much as I love my stick shifter I think I’ll try to do an EV retrofit. Blend the old with the new haha

I don't have registration documents as I just have temp AZ tags for a plate.

I have parts galore if you need much. Doors, boots, bonnets, glass, wheels, interior, trim, etc. we parted 4 MKIV’s while we were in Japan and brought it all home.

It’s got a half pulled apart then slapped back together 998 in there now. Was considering a D16y6 or EV, but the cost is just more than we want to kick down. So we are doing a 1275 swap instead.

That sounds like a dream. A friend of mine is considering a VTEC build at some point but the 1275 is hard to beat and keeps it classic.

In true TW fashion you'd better start a build thread on here

I was getting some creaks and groans in my house from the remodeling I did in the summer and of course the furnace running non stop, other than that it was just another lazy Sunday for me.

The clutch is usually a little stiff when it gets really cold like this, but once the cab warms up it is fine.

Cold sticky clutch is always a good time.. I usually let my truck warm up for a few minutes then pump the clutch like 10 times and it’ll be ok.

or I just get to 3rd and stay there til the truck is warm or I get to where I’m going lol

My truck has been making a weird "klunk" from under my driver side foot well. Done it a couple years now when its really cold. I dont know if its ice or if its my body mount bushing is frozen but as soon as its above freezing it stops. :crapstorm:

Mine did that a couple years ago. Sounded horrible, like something disconnected. Heard it off and on for about a week but then I parked in a heated garage and it disappeared. Had to have been a chunk of ice caught somewhere I couldn’t see
