I bought my first house last spring, I bought a "broken" ariens snowblower for 50 bucks a week after we moved in. The guy said he had no idea what was wrong with it and the small engine shop was going to charge him 350 dollars to fix it. I cleaned the carb, drained all the gas from it and it started right up. The things been a workhorse the last couple weeks.

Why even get a snow mower if you have a truck? Just drive over it, don’t think I’d ever shoveled snow unless it was for someone else’s house growing up or to make some side money back in the day.

Of course. I guess I am not having to worry with the vehicles in the garage. I just walk from house to car without going outside.

It usually melts here pretty fast I think the snow lasts long enough just so the DOT can salt the roads so that your frames rust away.

Until the sheer pin breaks inside the auger and it's welded itself in there. My wife shoveled the entire driveway in the time it took me to drill out the pin and replace it.

Who doesn’t like some out of position welding under a Tacoma in a snow storm! Seems reasonable. Thanks @jmferg for letting me use your truck to pop my “weld onto a frame” cherry.

Nah, I hammered the shit out of it. I also have carpal tunnel in both hands so the punch kept flying out of my hand.
