Love the f150. Nice pick up. Probably going to be my next car, probably when I’m closer to retirement. Lol....only reason I didn’t get one last year when I was shopping was that my budget was 30k and the f150 that I wanted was about $35-$40k

I want to love the tundra, but it's a super outdated platform. If it were fairly priced as a matter of age, i think many of us would consider it over the competition.

Nice. I was considering a used F150 with the V8, sort of wish I had gone that route sometimes but I still enjoy my tacoma.

Definitely! If I was looking to pay too many 2021 dollars for circa 2006 safety technology and drive train, and really wanted to get 15mpg on the highway I would totally look at a tundra.

It’s Toyota’s Frontier - but at least Nissan discounted the Frontier.

The Tundra platform is 15 years old. LOL.

I know you are joking, and there are probably some Tundras on the lot. Toyota quit building Tundras do to supply chain problems. Toyota decided to focus on Tacoma production, due to demand.

    I like the F150. I bought a Tacoma because I couldn't afford a Ford.

I bought my Taco back in 2015 because i couldnt afford the Ford and loved it for a while. I figured up that if i could stop dipping Copenhagen i could make the payment on the F150 with no more money out of my pocket. Its been a bitch but all i have to do is look at the new truck and it makes everything ok!

My mom has a platinum expedition with the 3.5EB and i do not like the way it drives (engine wise). It may be from lack of driving turbo vehicles but it just seems to surge and just feels weird to me. The 5.0 is smooth as silk.

    5.0 sounds awesome too.
I've just started to become a boost junky over that last few years. When a basic software upgrade can get you a 60+HP gain, I got hooked.

In either case, its a great truck. Theres a reason its been americas best selling vehicle for decades.

    Enjoy!
