I never trust the dash readouts

I use a home-grown system instead of fuelly, since I also use it for maintenance tracking and flags. Which reminds me I need an oil change. :|

 

I am definitely not trolling and I always do leave my truck running when fueling, yes that is true. In my line of work I don’t have much time to fuel when I’m trying to keep up with my oversize load as a pilot car....

I think its illegal in some/most states to leave vehicle running while filling up isnt it? either way, try resetting all your MPG and fuel economy things with the truck off right after you pump gas and see if it helps get that number back to normal. sure wouldnt hurt anything.

 

I wasn’t asking if it was was illegal so thanks for your advice but didn’t ask that.

 

I have filled up my truck before with it running, it never messed with the calculation.

 

Thank you. I just can’t figure out WHY this won’t register overfill tank of fuel. GRRRR
