That's the key to staying ahead of the curve and avoiding the panic buying

Buy things when they are plentiful and cheap while everyone else is buying the overpriced hard to find stuff

    It's all cyclical

I just figured people were buying all the magazines due to proposed bans. While now they’re basically untraceable

Good idea especially if the CA mag ban ends up overturned there will be a solid run on mags online immediately since CA stores aren't stocked yet

I keep 10 per on non bolt rifles currently and will probably up that to 15 per just leave some new in packaging for future use to replace broken or worn out mags. Especially while you can still find cheap pmags or lancers out there.

Don't overlook pistol mags either especially if running pistols with >10 round capacity.

Good idea. I don’t have but a few mags for one rifle and I guess I could find some more S$W mags for the EZ 9

Shit that’s already here. We had our 34th anniversary yesterday and as we talked about what all had happened in that time I was really feeling it

I wouldn't worry a ton about the EZ since it's less than 10 round capacity. I wouldn't expect a run on those given they're not a target YET but given the small capacity still would be good to have a bunch of mags just so you're not constantly reloading at the range

True. I had already considered it I’ve just been focused on other toys. Now I’m shopping for optics for the 22

I'd prioritize my buying like this:

    AR mags
    Pistol mags
80% stuff if reasonable and available
    Lowers
    BCG or parts
    uppers
    small parts
    Ammo

Unless of course you feel like you can last 5 to 10 years on what you have including breakages and thats predicated on price points and availability. Lowers seem hit or miss but they're the important bit to the MSR and if you like ARs you should have a couple extra lowers squirrelled away for a rainy day

Small bits get lost and break, as do BCGs, firing pins, gas rings, etc

It'd really suck to be 5 years from now and there's no AR parts to buy but your grandfathered rifles gas rings give up or your firing pin breaks

I haven't had any luck finding mags, but then again I'm not looking for AR or AK mags either. Seems that's all that's out there right now.

I am assuming that a regular cmmglower parts kit for AR will fit any of them? I know where some are and I might order a spare bcg
