They’re lying to you or they’re sourcing inventory on the secondary market

I get DAILY customers who are appalled by our prices compared to even PSA...and I don’t have the buying power the big stores do

there is a 15% increase at the manufacturing level for ammo currently but the guns ain’t jumped

I still sell Glocks every day for MAP pricing and that’s still the same as it was at the beginning of 2020

I talked to my uncle yesterday. Way back in the 1990's he bought an SKS 7.62 with 1,000 rounds of ammo for $99

We shot some of it one Sunday years ago and he still had 700+ rounds in a can.

His youngest son (18) and a friend ask if they could shoot it recently, he said yes.

They shot every round he had, he was pissed

I've got an M&P compact .22 and also a Walther .22, they are both great guns and will eat anything. The Ruger SR22 feels great in my hand but I've never shot one.

I'd look at one of the lower priced Buckmarks. All of the Buckmarks have the same receiver/action, the basic differences are the grip/frames, there are 3 versions. Buckmarks come in a mind numbing variety of combinations so keep it simple.

Wife's P22 only takes minimags, but otherwise cycles great. Also a fun gun with a can. Definitely don't feed it the cheap stuff though.
