Disclaimer, I haven't bought it yet. I'm just trying to see if hooking it up outside of a 747 is even possible haha.

It'll be about, $350 from the Boeing scrapper. It came from an old American Airlines 747.

How do you know the heating element is 120VAC 3phase? Only 3phase heating elements I've ever seen are 480V but then again, they are not being installed on a plane. If it really is 120VAC 3phase yoy can hook only 1 phase of 120VAC up to it, but you'll burn the coil out a lot faster.

28V DC for control is fairly easy... alot of better quality 24V output power supplies have a dial setting that allows you to "boost" the output up to 27.5V

 

They have hotels for that

I got those pictures off a thread on reddit of a guy trying to do the same thing as me, but he didn't really get an answer. They just expressed how difficult it would be to get 120vAC, 400hz, 3-Phase.

The one advantage I have is mine isn't missing the cable sled, I have the plumbing fittings for the water inlet and wiring remenant. The nice thing about avionic wiring is every wire is labeled with exactly what it does on the jackets.
