    I was wondering the same thing... and no, I do not have the JBL system in my 2020. But I do have tweeters on the top corners of the dash.

    I have the non jbl system. I just picked up the tweeters at subaru in white bear lake dealer. I haven't installed them yet, because it's -3 below zero and with the windchill it's -17 below zero. Just a tad on the cool side!

    They are plug-n-play. I bought them a few months ago and since then have upgraded to a Focal component system so will be selling these.

    Replaced the stock ones on mine with these.

    with an aftermarket headunit and built in amplifier.

    these are not night and day, i can barely tell they were replaced.

    It has to be a night and day difference on a stock headunit only.

    would think it would make a difference either way. i have stock entunes premium and am on the fence as far as changing them. i am an old fart and the sound seems pretty good as is. also as far as the stock door speakers, when i am at a stop and i have the volume cranked up playing my EDM music the bass vibrates the rear view mirror. how much better can it get? i have the tweeter speakers in my Amazon cart just have not pulled the trigger for the exact reason you have posted.

    The Subaru tweeters sounded good, had them in there for 2 years. I just bought component speakers that came with there own tweeter tho
