Just installed a 12volt solutions remote starter!
Not bad at all. No heat in the garage but it’s like 35 here in Vt today.
Wish I’d have got it sooner but it’s been cold out anyway.
Pretty solid product priced below other 2 ways without install.
Install took a few hrs I’m sure in better weather it would be quicker.
I heated the inside up to make plastic more compliant. The door lock connector was a pain in the arse. It’s super hidden and has no wiggle room. But even after forgetting the programming process and being slow all works as it should.
Happy to have a starter again!
Very pleased with the TX makes it fun again.

Do I need to upgrade my suspension and tires immediately or can I run my bed rack and tent and gear with my stock TX Pro?

Just wasn’t sure if my current AT tires (BF Goodrich K02 265/75 R16) and suspension would support the weight of a tent and rack. Pricing out this build is getting really expensive..

2011 TX Pro new owner checking in.

Purchased this past Saturday. Has the factory supercharger too. We are the 3rd owner and the truck has been very well maintained throughout its life. Also has some nice mods (IMHO).

Sorry I'm so late replying. Went out of the country early last year and just now catching up. Here's my '13 with the Tuff Stuff Elite. This RTT is one of the largest you can get. I did upgrade the suspension all of the way around to accommodate the tent, rack, and drawer system.

    Hi Everyone,
I hope this finds you all doing well! I've been a Taco owner since '02 and that TRD has over 300K and still runs strong. TW has been a great source of information for me over the years, so it made sense to get an account. So many of you have extensive knowledge about offroading, repairs, parts, etc., and you have my thanks for all of the lessons I've gleaned from your experience.

Currently, have two T|X Bajas (PRO-precursors), a '12 (Barcelona Red) and a '13 (Super White). I'm pretty much done with the mods on the '12, and have just about finished the suspension upgrades on the '13. It would be great to hear from other Baja owners about their projects and where they source parts. If any of you would like to know where I got mine, I'm happy to share!

    Happy offroading!

Unfortunately the TRD exhaust for 2gen's is discontinued, I found that are two left in the country a few months back. But neither dealership that had them want it to ship them, both located in Cali. One around the Bay are and the other close to San Diego.
