Its easy point, shoot, . I self taught bow hunting...my first year was horrible...

 

Its more the skinning and stuff. Need to learn that. Had some great game meat from friends over the years.

 

I've shot 4 with a bow, but it's pretty much luck...them bastards are smart!! I called two in with my voice, that was pretty cool.

 

We didnt hunt deer or anything 2020...this year we are catching up

 

Us too. I shot some behind the shop just for meat. But Cindy wants to get back at it.

 

That's actually pretty easy to learn (I hate doing it) but it's really time consuming if you do it right.

They stink or greasy?

 

I hear thats pretty rough.

 

They stink a d you will stink just be around them. Once I cut there hocks and hoist them up I wash the heck out of them before I ever make a cut.

 

I've shot at alot more than I've killed too! I think I've shot 8 or 9 with the .243....I've got all of that written down in the shop. Bow kills, gun kills...all of it

 

Don't people boil them sometimes or something?

 

Mine were 3 with .270 and 1 with .45

 

Ya if ya want to keep the hide on. A little lye in boiling water with losses the hair the ya scrape. Not worth all that to me.

 

Bet that scraping sucks.
