On a side note, has anybody else tried to relocate their automatic high beam switch to the open slot on the center switch panel of the MT '21s? I plan to put the ditch light switch in the open slot pictured.

 

Bed mat is one of the best add ones you can do IMO

 

The kids are off on Monday. It'd be nice to get them outside and away from home for the first time in a while.

 

You couldn't tell that to my previous employer (at least not the Chief). If you had to put 15 mins OT on your time card, you had to have damned good explanation as to WHY you put that 15 mins OT on your card. And I mean a detailed reason (see PHd dissertation type explanation). He was a cheap SOB. If he could've gotten away with it, he used $5 recycled oil to put in the patrol cars.

 

Can anyone tell by the so so pic if this is open cell (low density) or closed cell (high density)? Looking to wrap some connectors behind the radio to stop vibrating/rattling and want to use the same as Toyota used for the tailgate lock kit.

Ive got my RTT set up on my kbvoodoo hi rise bars.
I had to put it off center because it wouldnt open all the way because the top hit the bars.

Im looking for ideas here...
My first thought is to potentially add some metal plates under the mounting locations to lift the tent higher and mount it centered so it has enough clearance to open fully.

The other idea would be to keep the tent where it is and try to distribute weight with other things... im looking to DIY a solar shower, maybe keep a cooler on that side..
got some thoughts for me?

 

My 1st job was in a warehouse across from my local high school. I think I was making $6 an hour (which is a lot to a teenager in the 90s ). It was a small company with about 10 employees. Wasn't a terrible job. Wasn't a great job. But after working in a ware house as a teen, and now having a desk type job at 40, I appreciate those a/c office jobs. But sometimes, I miss that outside jobs. Was able to be outside and move around (minus the Mississippi humidity).

 

Well, looks like I'm heading to Joshua Tree this weekend! I've got to buy a tent heater, but I talked the boss into it! It'll be the first family off road trip. And the first time for the three of them camping.

I guess my issue with running risers like this is that i have security nuts that require the use of a long tool that id have to make contact straight on.
**actually, i see that these have offset -- which may do the trick!

Absolutely. Compressor is supposed to show up tomorrow and my Diamondback on Thursday. Going to have to see if I can get set up before the weekend.

 

MESO is working on dual mode map lights right now, similar to the dual mode dome lights.

 

Was your trac switch always left of steering? I’d love to see the wiring and routing if stock because I’m still trying to move mine from overhead to that spot

I’m doing the opposite as you and moving my traction control up to the overhead console.

 

Yea I’ve seen that and think I read that its not compatible if the switch is already up there. I tried emailing them with no response.

can you see where the wires trace back to from your switch? I’m trying to do it all pnp but the mating connector for mine is a pcb header supposedly and I can’t find a source

 

Made a platform (or two) for my double cab a few months ago and have been trying to get everything squared away to make it an official business. Today I can finally show my creation to you guys as everything is finally live. The fogs look great, but what’s your guess on the long term durability of that Kylon in the elements and with heat from the bulbs? Did you use any kind of topcoat?
