You wanna hear something loud, that's the 2GR! I just thought the 1GR was "ticky". I know alot of it is the direct injection; yesterday I pulled in the garage and it went into cleaning mode. THAT got loud, amplified by being in the garage

The non DI 2GRs are much quieter. But yes, that DI is a noisy bastard.....especially in the cleaning cycle

 

I don't always stock up on oil but when I do, it's on clearance


Got the blue jugs with a mail in rebate, wound up with 18 gallons for less than $4 a gallon and the gas truck Rotella for $2.45 a quart

$98 Toyota 0w20 Toyota Case of 12 Quarts Full Synthetic 0W-20 Oil

Toyota 0w20 at the dealer to use for my trucks first oil change and the yearly change in the Camry. It still appears to still have a really stout add-pack. Might be expensive, but I hope to keep this truck for a while and the Camry ain't going anywhere, especially since it has a tainted Carfax it's worth nothing (even with only 30K on a 2015)...
