yeah i have an after market deck and plug in my phone almost right away, so not a big deal to me. i get where you are coming from i was a subscriber for almost 10 years just found in the last year i just never used it. CarPlay to me is a game changer

I use Samsung, what's their version of carplay? A new headunit would be fun.

 

Android Auto, same difference. pretty much mirrors certain apps from your phone to the touch screen. i had a Nav unit and it was crapping out on me, took it to the dealership they couldn't figure out what was going on and wanted 2k to replace it. forget that went after market way cheaper and more features

 

I am sirius-ly (ahem) surprised at how these once advertised as no advertising, lifetime subscription, radio and other media services have been able to change their tune and now people think it is normal to pay for what they could get for free.

I have a friend who just refused to negotiate with them and it would drive me crazy. I finally convinced her after you could do it through online chat. It's insane what people will pay monthly without knowing/caring.

 

did a test cut in the fenders behind the tires for an HC rear bumper im designing, eventually gonna be cut higher up in line with the bottom of the tail light.

will be selling CAD models of the bumper if it doesnt suck too much

 

I had to get short with them when I cancelled because they refused to stop asking me questions, and then again a couple months later when they called me trying to come back. I said "I told you 3 times now that I'm not interested, next time I'm not going to be as nice about it".

 

I got the same notification from DD yesterday.

 

They called me for months and sent me a million things in the mail. And I never even had it lol

 

What kind of front armor are you using? This looks really nice!

 

So here’s a fun thing to do. When you get all those prepaid return envelopes from companies just mark up the forms and put them back in a mail them back. They have to pay the postage on the junk mail you send back to them.

I have just about completed the full detail on my recently purchased ‘08 Tacoma with 410,000 miles. Today I cleaned and coated the dash with Aerospace 303 protectant. I also cleaned and coated the rear metal bumper with 845 and the plastic part with Ultimate Black.

 

Lol I found it under my floor jack so yeah it's gong on as a have a few do dads to work on the truck. Any way Good Eye!
