Probably six or seven years ago, I almost rear-ended a shitty early 1990s Ford Escort wagon because their brake lights were not functioning. It was the middle of the day, I was going 45-50 MPH, and this Escort had no way of indicating that it had stopped. The brakes lights were both out; I actually got of the vehicle, walked up to the Escort, and told the elderly drive that both of their brake lights were out, and they reacted in a disturbingly indifferent manner. Idiots like this are the reason people like me who actually take care of their vehicles have to submit to yearly safety emissions that we don't want or need!

No texting I agree with, but no talking on a phone period (without a handsfree device) is just a way for bored cops to generate revenue in my opinion...

Ideally there's that line but so many people just abuse the phone anyway, I can see why it had to be done

I know people who refuse to use a smartphone, so they’d have to physically talk on the phone!

I’ve got Bluetooth and I prefer to not even use that honestly, but I don’t think it’s fair to give a whopping ticket to someone who can’t afford it just because they were talking on their phone; Texting is another story...

Broken traffic lights; Sat at a red light with a “NO TURN ON RED” sign for two cycles, waiting to make a right turn...

I had a DoorDash order to deliver, so I ended up running it (again, after sitting for two cycles); I have a dashcam, so if I got pulled over, I had proof that the light was malfunctioning!

People at the drive-thru. Why do I always get stuck behind some stupid numbnut in the drive-thru?? People who don't know what they want. Fast food chains have made it so simple - Pick a number and move on!
People who have to special order everything. "I want light special sauce & 3 pickle slices, not 2, extra well done fries & a diet coke with ice on the side... ", which invariably gets messed up & makes your wait longer.
Or people who pull into the drive-thru with a laundry list & order for the whole f'ing office.
Damn, if you can't complete your order in under 30 seconds, park the car & take your stupid @$$ inside!

This kills me. People don't seem to realize that pulling forward doesn't make the light change faster. The lights around here won't change if you're that far up. I've cut down side streets before to go around people that do that, so they have to sit there until someone else comes along to set off the sensor.
