The stock pipe is lower then the frame crossmember just waiting to get ripped off by a rock, this particular re-route tucks it up higher so that you can run a flat skid plate.

I'm in the process of extracting my teaching aid. It's a bit burried. Iirc the lock box is on the other end of that rusty barrel that's been filled with concrete. At the bottom of that menagerie of fuck.

Well my teaching aid was a bust. There was definitely not a lock box on the other end. I'll have to gather some props.

 

My friend said to buy a 25’ 3/8” chain with a small hook on one end. He also mentioned that some gates have a pin in a can that can’t be Jimmy rigged with a welding rod

 

Something to drape over that chain just in case it lets loose otherwise someone could end up with a broken window or quite the headache. I haven't done it with a welding rod but a long flathead screwdriver works excellent.

 

The hood latch from a 2nd gen pickup also can be used to your advantage

From what it looks like on hancock's white river recreation site, the whole white river block is restricted/zero access at the moment.

The above post where it's suggested that she probably believed the guy entering private property had paid access and a key is pretty reasonable.
