You could go 265/70r16 or 265/75r16. The 265/75r16 is the tad bit taller tire. However, if you get the 265/75r16 in an all terrain (like I did) you can REALLY see the difference without any rubbing. The first pic is of the stock Goodyear 265/70s...the second pic is of the BFG ALL TERRAIN 265/75s. Anything larger than a 265/75r16 will probably rub without a lift or level kit. 20201206_130110.jpg 20210201_105601.jpg

Look at this comparison sir. The width (265) is the same for both tires, but everything else is a tad bit larger on the 265/75r16. Hope this helps!!!

I've found that with the switch to a 265/75 the speedometer reads accurately however the odometer doesn't report the accurate number of miles driven vs my GPS. I have to add ~3% to the miles on the odometer to calculate accurate MPGs.

How have you liked those Fuel Blitz wheels? I am planning to buy a set for my cement 2021 OR, but trying to find out if they hold up well and such. Any thoughts having had them on your truck a while? I know lots of folks don't like the gloss, but I think it makes the wheels stand out from the tire a bit and gives some much needed contrast on the grey/black truck. Anyway, any thoughts or reviews would be appreciated.

Looks good sir!! I went the exact same route, with no rubbing either. However, a few weeks later, I had 2 inch spacers (Rough Country) put on the front only to level my truck out! I also considered Bilstein shocks all the way around, but after A TON OF RESEARCH and talking to MULTIPLE 4 wheel guys, it wasn't necessary. I don't do any off- reading or rock crawling. I just wanted my truck to look better and sit higher....so I went with the larger AT BFGs and the front level kit. Mission Accomplished!!!

you need to reference the OE tread design, plus I weighed mine before selling them with zero miles after removal and according to my electronic fish scale they were 35lbs.

Toyo AT3s. 265/75 should of been the stock tire size IMO.

What fuel economy are you getting? I’m hesitant to change tires due to fuel economy, which I probably shouldn’t because I have exactly been going anywhere due to COVID (I’ve only put 8,500 in 2 years and 5,500 where pre COVID). However, normally I put 15k a year and loosing anymore than 3-4 mpg might hurt long term especially if gas gets more expensive again (which in my area it has gone up about $.30 a gallon).

If your not driving that much.. I think then you should pull the trigger on the tires.. tbh it’s not that much mpg difference.. the look of the truck will out weigh the mpg

I expect to drive 15,000-20,000 miles in a the next few years unfortunately, so I have to plan for the future. If i do end up driving that much plus if gas goes up in price then I could end up paying a lot extra that I could put in other places. I don’t have an issue with paying extra, but I feel that losing more that 2 mpg wouldn’t be worth it. From what I’ve heard from some, my fuel economy would be roughly the same, but others say that they lose a lot.

Here is my 2020 TRD Pro. I am not computer savvy...nor really a "gear guy". I drive about 60 miles a day (round trip) to work. Is there a bigger tire that would make this truck look better than it already does??? I have to balance in loss of power and fuel economy... as well, I know the Pro has a different stance than the rest of the Taco's, does anyone think I need a lift kit? Thanks in advance- sorry for the new guy questions lolIMG_1530.jpg

How are ya, now? I would get a decent 265/75R16 tire and call it a day for right now. Drive it a while and see what you need. Welcome and congrats on the new truck.
