Army Green thread: let’s keep it green!

My truck is Army Green but the interior is the standard black / gray. I put a TRD badge in Army Green on the grille, but in eliminating some of the chrome from the interior, I decided that green would be overkill, and not match anything else in the interior. So, now the steering wheel emblem is black and the shift collar (manual) is dark gray (those are both overlays). The added cup holder mats have a gray trim to match the seats. The climate control rings came in a kind of slate gray, so I decided to leave them alone. The bright chrome on the 4x4 ring and the door handles still bothers me, but replacing that pushes the envelope of diminishing returns.

 

I brought her home today. I ordered it on 10/25.

The 4x4 ring can easily be replaced by a new one from AJT.

 

Those knobs look really nice but man that is pricey for some knobs...

How much did the AC go for vs the double cab? Curious to know.

Searching for a TRD Off Road 4x4 AC just like yours or a double cab long bed. Willing to travel anywhere!

I got it for $38950 + Tax, Title etc...
I also had to travel about 650 miles to get it.

 

Oh wow, I got my DCLB OR for 39500 in California. I thought the AC would be cheaper.

 

A dealership near me just go a delivery of 7 Army Green Tacomas out of nowhere. They had none a week ago. I wonder what the story behind that was..
Wish it happened while I was looking for one. Probably would have given me a lot more negotiating power.

I just ordered one, dealer said it could be 3-4 months, depends on when Toyota makes them......Im stuck driving a prius until it gets here so fingers crossed its sooner than that... FWIW, I paid $41k plus tax in CO. Tacomas are super popular here, so there is never any deals. probably should have looked out of state and made a road trip out of it....oh well

 

Check around with other dealers. The one I dealt with initially talked a good game but couldn't deliver, ended up getting it from another dealer.
