agreed my dad helped me get started on credit with a small loan for an atv then got a credit card and its been building since then

 

Good thing I got good credit

 

I started with a credit card through the bank and then my dad cosigned on the tacoma and it's been going up since

 

I started with a credit card with a co-signer and like $1500 limit. Student loans. Vehicle loan.

Now i dont have anything except too many credit cards...because you get dinged for high utilization... so when you are running $5000+ a month for work, you need a lot of credit to not cross 30%. It’s stupid.

 

Yes it is. I'm stubborn and intense to get back to having no credit. Brother in law is a loan officer and thinks I'm nuts

Internet? Intercept Wireless. Local broadband company out of Kearney. My options were that, AT&T, or Dish

This, plus no one does manual underwriting anymore. I had no credit, but have assets to offset that factor

Why do you want to go back to no credit?

I haven't missed a payment yet either. Payed off the subaru last year and I've got.one more payment left on the tacoma so the only debt I'll have is the house

noice! the si still has below 13,750 on it but it earns zero interest for life of the loan and its cheap so its not so bad and then i got the house

 

You get dinged points on your credit score if you use more than 30% of your allowed credit. Aka, if you have a limit of $100 you can only use $30 before it dings you.
The only negative score for me is that my credit has only been around for 5 years.

 

Zero interest sounds so nice

Ope almost forgot about my credit card. So I'll only have house debt and credit card debt

 

Aforementioned stubbornness and a fundamental dislike of the credit score system. Not saying it's wise, but take it as you will

I absolutely hate debt. Made it through school without loans, paid off my truck in 18 months, and the only current credit item I have is my house. Had a credit card for emergencies and overseas travel, but canceled it. May ultimately get another, but we'll see.

 

Ouch! My interest is 2.85%

 

I never leave a balance on my cards.

 

I want to refi, but I haven't put in 20% yet so if I did I'd have to start paying PMI.
