E for excruciating hahaha. Actually what’s next is getting them to read things...like books or owners manual...oh and oil change reminders or warning labels.

My own kids have told me that! “No time Dad...I’ll just YouTube it!” I just shake my head and walk away...knowing at some point they're going to ask me to fix it because they screwed up.

I always got along well on nights. I worked a steady night shift for a little over 20 years. The best advice I ever had was to keep the same routine, such as when I got home, I’d shower and get right to bed. Some people had obligations and had to stay up with kids or some other reasons. But consistent routine was key to staying rested.
Anyway, you seem to have a rotating shift schedule, correct?

Nope.

I have emailed the permit guy and he hasn't answered. I am just going to have to get out the sawzall and show off my mad carpentry skillz

 

been doing swing shift for 35yrs. I agree. on nites i go home and follow the exact routine everyday.use to work all 3 shifts but weve been 12hour shifts for years now.now with only 3 crews per line its 6weeks of days 3 weeks of nites.last year they went back to 2weeks days 2 weeks nites. production dropped almost 15%.

 

Time to get serious dammit...lol.
