Did the U-bolts & blocks come in the box with the shocks? I'm trying to figure out if PTR13-35210 is all I need for the lift side of things? TIA

Crazy. Looks like a new grill too, with black lettering instead of the silver.

No. The way things were packaged you got the grille garnish even if you didn’t get the grille. I’m not sure which parts came with what part number.

Definitely a nice option, if this where available when I purchased my truck I would have highly considered it.
I ended up getting the trd pro fox shocks and I went with a oem pro grill.

So, just to confirm (from those that have already completed lift and/or ordered lift), you must order P/N# PT84K-35220 as well as PTR13-35210 (TRD Shock absorber Set), PT228-35200-20 (Grille), & 88210-04080 (Milliwave Radar Sensor) to get the full kit? Would it be possible to omit the Radar Sensor and request that dealership use current sensor, especially on a brand new truck? Asking, because seems this could go either way depending on dealership...I see some saying you must order all required components.

Last question, didn't see an answer as to whether 285/17s would now fit comfortably with this lift. Thinking the new 2021 TRD Pro wheels would be a nice match, just don't know if major cosmetic "enhancements" would be required for fit. Don't feel like chopping/cutting a brand new truck.

Haven't even picked up new truck (won't roll off line for a few more weeks), but want to try to negotiate TRD Lift install after arrival to dealership, but before driving off the lot. These guys like to use every excuse as to why they can't do something instead of "yeah, tell us what you need."

    Thanks all.

So just my opinion, but I’m guessing the dealership ship will do an all or nothing install. When I talked to mine that’s what I was told. As far as the dealership is concerned the old sensor will not work with the new lift, so they will charge you 4hours labor just to set-up the new sensor. I’m assuming that’s why it will all be one part number in April. Keeps people from buying only certain items. All or nothing at that point. The sensor is considered a safety item so they are not going to do something that could possibly causes a safety feature to not work properly.

Sounds more and more like the way Les Schwab does things.
Brakes for instance. say all you need are the rotors turned and new pads.
Nope, they replace everything from the rotors up, even though the "new" parts are not necessary.

I don't get it other that a warranty issue with Toyota. Why not Bilstein 5100s, your own block, fake grill, you don't need a new sensor. Lots of wasted parts in my opinion.

The lift isn't going to help with the 285s. That's the wheel selection with the correct offset.

That’s what it’s all about is the warranty. If I was going to do this on an older truck the aftermarket stuff would be the way to go for sure, but for me it was worth it to not possibly void part of the warranty on a truck with 600 miles on it.

    Same.

I think this will be the reason for most people going this route. That, or the fact that I assume you can roll the cost into the loan, which will appeal to many people. Honestly, this is absolutely genius on Toyota's part and I'm surprised it took them this long to do it.

My dealership uses a local 4wd shop and with bilsteins and a block is of no issue not would I have any issues with warranty.

Same here. My dealer said if I did my aftermarket lift with a particular local 4wd shop they would honor all aspects of warranty work on parts fitted and parts potentially affected (CV’s, driveshafts, bearing etc).

    That factory kit is expensive.

I just ordered a 2021 TRD Off-Road..won't be delivered for another month. Dealership quoted me a TRD lift (3" front, 2" rear), TRD wheels and 285 Nittos for $4600. Debating if this is worth it?

Toyota TRD 3/2 lift? I don't believe Toyota has another life besides this one in the thread and I think this one is the first lift from Toyota.
