Six months of wearing them, inside of the boot on the right heel started to come apart. The rough math says I've spent 1700 hours and 1000 miles in these boots. Hopefully the store that sold them will honor their 1 year warranty. I don't think it shows how much I've worn them at all... 8381C8D0-FB77-4038-A61E-2DB2154B425B.jpg

    What kind are they?

I wear mine 6 days a week like most everyone else, usually only get a year out of them. Been wearing wolverines, in red wings now.

I've had 2 pairs of Wolverine steel toe boots, each lasted about 30 months. Since I don't do anything that requires steel toes (I wear dress pants and a polo shirt to work, I just prefer black boots over dress shoes!), my current pair are Rockports. They're closing in on a year old, and need another hit of milk oil, but are holding up well.

The last few years I have been favoring wearing the boots instead of tennis shoes with jeans on the weekends, too.

Steel blue, comfiest pair of steel toes I've worn so far. I've got a backup pair of Ariats that I'll be switching to while figuring out what to do with these. The ariats are insulated though, and I already sweat enough... so I try to save them for the coldest times.

Military issues 2 pair of boots. 1 to wear and 1 to keep polished for inspection... No, to rotate every day so that they can rest and dry out. Yeah I didn't do that either.

I’ve always fought my feet sweating a lot too, insulated boots kill me if it’s not cold. I try and stay away from them.
