We got possible single digit temps and lowland snow headed this way.

 

Fuck Canada. Weather lady just informed us this morning that your weather is on its way to visit.

Expected low close to 9 degrees F on Monday, and upwards of 4" of snow expected.

I have to admit that Tim Horton's coffee is slightly superior to Dunkin Donuts coffee in smoothness and finish. No bitterness at all. Well done, Tim.

I was hoping to paint my shop this weekend. I better go pick up a space heater. :-/

 

I was hoping to break out the power carving toys and go to town on some walnut and marble.

NOPE.

I will instead be impersonating Yogi at this time of year - hibernating with a pic-a-nic backet!

 

You could always get some of those hand warmer packets and bandage your self up like mummy with them

Gets pretty damn cold up on the top of the mtn, I use my electric motorcycle vest a good bit around the house.

 

I insulated the walls, but there’s only 3” in the attic and the garage doors are un-insulated wood. I’ll be ready next year.

 

Can’t wait to start complaining about the heat.

 

The long term goal is to add a mini-split AC/heater.

 

I put a couple those units in my renovated basement, they work very well. I like the dehumidifier option it has.

I almost framed for a window unit, but the cost to run those is insane. We put mini splits in additions and in rooms where the architect made it impossible to run ductwork. They are very efficient to run.

 

I wanna go, I am sure Meagan won’t mind lol
