Still think TITNC3: Return of the Iceberg was peak

Had sundial growers. Gained a small profit off of them, then bounced at about $1.45. Used that money to buy into the GME hype. Now i need to find a logical way out of cutting my loses on it before dipping into 75 different weed stocks.

 

You seem to be doing pretty decent over the last couple weeks. Hoping you pulled that GTII at the right time

 

Logical way to get out of GME? ASAP I think. Unless the squeeze is coming

 

I think it'll go up a little. (Not the squeeze everyone was betting on) Although it definitely was on its way until they screwed every single one of us on that one.

 

I've been selling in and out...Presently sitting +$840 on the most recent buy...Willing to take some negatives for potential rebound pops based on $$ already made

Unfortunately, I can't invest in those options... yet. Downside to working for the Fed is it is still illegal. Thus, could complicate my security clearance.

 

Even international funds? That's pretty sketchy...How to they deal with mutual funds with international exposure or even the fact that multiple fortune 500 companies use employment practices in foreign nations that are illegal in the U.S. Even AAPL...which is in EVERY fund...
Sounds like some VERY superficial and concerned with appearance over reality.

 

I have never heard that before and know people with TS clearances with a lot of money in cannabis stocks and it has never come up when renewing clearances. The argument that it is not allowed to invest in cannabis and own a small portion of a company that isn't technically legal federally is weak at best.

Conversation came up with legal about this very thing with funds. If you do not DIRECTLY have anything to do with managing what you invest in (the fund manager is the deciding factor) you are safe. But if you decide to buy stock directly in a cannabis fund or foreign investment, you could be at risk security clearance wise. This came directly from military legal sources.

Now, have I HEARD of anyone being denied a clearance due to this? No. But with anything, there is always a risk of doing something that is against the law (federally). Because our jobs as I stated are federal positions, you risk it by doing it. I personally am not taking that risk with 2 years left... Only because I want that damn retirement and disability check.
