Technically...I paid someone to do it...
    191,000 miles..
New clutch, new slave cylinder, Transmission mount, transmission fluid change, clutch DOT fresh...

Was getting gas Friday, Pushed the clutch, starter her up and then the clutch pedal didn't return...so I pulled it up and then it wouldn't go down and was stuck with the slave cylinder engaged. and the fork snapped and throw out bearing seized...and slave cylinder seized...Very impressive. Too cold and rusty so I paid the local mechanic and I can't drop a transmission in my driveway :)

Dang man, I've gone through 3 in my 2013 and I only have 41k miles. Probably because my girlfriend gets bored after an hour on fishing trips and goes back to the truck to listen to the radio and tiktok

Weird. I just started getting a BUNCH of emails from SirusXM after my last dealership service a few weeks ago (like 1 a day - I was never a subscriber). I wonder of they're going under and are desperate

Easy going day with the truck. Finished some things I've been putting off. Wired a power source for the wireless charging mount down through the pillar, used up the last bit of sound deadening material on the floor and slapped on a few new patches. I still need to buy one more box of noico so I can finish (part 4/4) the floors and roof.

They just hammer you with ads if you're not subscribed. Then they don't want to lose you so they'll give you a crazy deal if you try to cancel. I think their business is fine, it's just kind of shady how you have to jump thru hoops to secure the secret deal.

Just tell them you are not willing to pay beyond promotional price, and you'll cancel if not. They'll connect you to someone else, stick to your guns, and they'll offer it to you again. Sometimes you have to be connected to the cancel agent, who will then connect you to another agent who has authority to give you the promotional price. I've been doing it yearly since Stern went to Sirius. For over a decade, even before I had my Tacoma. Dont recall exactly what I pay a year, but around 100 or less. Takes maybe 15 minutes each time. I'm a lifelong Howard Stern show fan so its worth it to me. Also can't stand Free FM and commercials. Several music channels I like that have no censorship and play music not in the top 50 or whatever. I really enjoy Sirius, so its worth it to me.

Got to use my maxtrax to the first time today, on a little solo wheeling trip. They’re not just for Instagram overlanding points! They do actually work, it turns out.

Dropping into a this dry stream bed was so steep that I got hung up on the skids on the way down. Oops.

I've been taking my numerous Tacomas to this dealer since 2004 and I've never received an email until 3 weeks ago when I got my last service

There are hoops to jump through just to cancel too. I jumped through them Sunday. My wife's RDX.

My wife goes thru the Siruis/XM thing yearly. Previously got it for as low as 60 for the year, I think we're at 120 for the year now but I can't do without it.

Got the bed detached from the frame on the wrecked Baja Edition. If I can get somebody to help me lift it off I can get to all the damage and get the truck back on the road pretty quickly. I ended up ordering a complete axle assembly (left side) from a wrecking yard since the original proved to be bent. The used axles should have a good bearing... Ha! FedEx just showed up with the axle as I write this... so the axles should have a good bearing and backing plate, and the guy said they had one with all the brake hardware still on it too.
    It's coming along...

Jeezus... this wrecking yard is awesome! The axle even came with a brake drum... and amazingly it is the correct side the first time. All for $164 including shipping and taxes.
