Command start is better than Sex these days. The euphoria of it starting just makes you wanna have a cigarette after.

 

I’m sure Maners got this down a long time ago. This is right normal weather. We’d feel ripped off without it. Very important to the ecosystem to have extreme cold here.

 

That's about the coldest I've been.

If I remember correctly it was on patrol in Afghanistan at -28°F before wind chill. Our patrol only made it 300m before it was scrubbed with 2 cases of hypothermia and 15 cases of extreme Chillblain causing swelling of extremities (to where they were taken off duty status for several days).

Froze my ears pretty bad last night. Once you get frostbite real bad those areas are the first to freeze. Pays to have a good Winger to tell you when your nose ‘n ears start turnin’ white then blue. Then it’s time to get outta Dodge for a bit or risk losin’ ‘em.

 

All I can say to that is AWWWWWWHELLNO.

I would be moving somewhere warmer.

 

Pine beetles. Keeps ‘em at bay for the upcoming season. Cold just pisses off the Skeeters.

 

Sadly enough they come back with a vengeance.

 

No trees where I work just tundra and rock mountains. Pretty desolate but pretty in its own way

 

This is why I like TX. 50 is cold down here. Gotta deal with 110 in the summer though.

 

Kinda cool how they get shorter & shorter til there’s none at all. Used to see that goin’ up the “Zama Freeway” on the way Up North.

 

And the snakes, lol.

 

110 is too hot. I lived in FL for 19 years, the humidity was brutal. Though when it is stupid cold like it is here right now I have to question why I moved back. Keep telling myself I should move to Hawaii.
