I've only had one "deep test" and it was a drive through DIY type deal. They handed a q-tip through the window with a black sharpie mark on it waaaaaaaaay down that stick.

it's so much worse when you have to do it on yourself and you just hear muffled "keep going...deeper...almost there...ok, you're good"

I've had people tell me it's like getting a lobotomy when getting a Covid test. I did a self administered test, and they said to only go about an inch in.

How long until you get the results? Mine were taking 2 to 3 days. Test Thursday, results Saturday or Sunday.

I've been calling it a brain swab for months.

I've had it done 9 times now and the first was by far the worst. I could have sworn she said it would be 5 seconds but then she went 10. At 5 seconds my eyes were watering. By 10 I was full on adolescent girl at a Justin Bieber concert crying.

Thankfully they are doing the rapid tests on campus now (results back in 30 minutes) which go less than an inch in your nose.

That's a proper angle unit of measure. Where's the fun in that, unless you meant Rankine.

Those first ones were terrible. Like a brain probe. Same day results here but now there's a new one I haven't had..........yet.

A friend of mine drives vehicles from dealer to dealer at times. He just came by in this one, full sized Chevrolet with a 4 cylinder

Creed, I hope the wife's test come back negative. Now I'm wondering if the test is just a precaution before surgery? Anyhow hope everything is a go, and goes good to be behind you.
On those slotted tubes; I'm just going to imagine they get donut glaze pumped in them and lots and lots of donuts going by on a 48" wide conveyer belt.

Yes her test today was for pre-op to make sure she’s negative.

If I ever get back to the plant the tube is in I’ll see what it does. I can’t take any pictures, that is one place I did sign a form saying I wouldn’t.

I'd settle for the turbo 4 cylinder when it was the last option before a battery.
Kind of makes me want to go out back and burn a old tire...

I remember dad burning an old mattress to get rid of it. Awful smoke, and he was a professional firefighter :anonymous:

Now that I have some experience with Toyota's Hybrid stuff in my wife's Highlander, I told her that if the same power train was offered for the Tacoma, I'd take it.

I think all electric vehicles is closer to reality than what we might think.
On those truck turbo 4s hope they don't consume oil like like the one in wifes friends car, that thing is a shame.
Near $250.00 for nitrogen filled tires...thank you sir may I have another..

I saw that $250 for nitrogen as well. You can buy your own tank cheaper than that. And 3M door protection, clear film is all it is. The wife’s suburban has it, I told them I’m not paying for that, I didn’t ask for it. I’m sure we did somehow.
