Old lacquer is a bitch to keep clean. Fuck all that maintenance.

Ripped out the old carpet & put in 5/8” Maple. But it’s not the same as the old stuff. Just used commercial gym finish after a good prep.

 

3/4 in Oak I believe downstairs.

 

I really liked it stacked up in the front room to settle for the month before install. Only time it didn’t matter where shit was. Kinda like calmness in chaos if you know what I mean.

 

To acclimate/dry?
