    368 means toss.

In my neck of the woods if you think you need a battery, you need a battery.

The GR8 and the new testers suck. I pre-charge for an hour and they still need a freaking hour more.

hmm, looking at that it should of thrown the code "good recharge" and not "good battery"
Since the voltage was so low it should of said recharge at the very least.

Thats normally what we do too, but when under warranty I try to get as much covered as I can.

All I make out from that test is that your battery is @65% of what it should be?
And I personally would try to find a battery with more than 582 cca.

Tomorrow, before you start your truck.
Check the battery voltage. It’s possible you have a draw.
But 582 isn’t much and 368 is even less.

585 is terrible cca for MN, we need at least 800 for some of these cold days.

Yeah, and silly me left my multimeter on so its battery is dead and I dont have any 9v batteries laying around.... I grabbed a usb/volt meter plug for my kayak and will just hook that up bare wired. Going to do a test tonight and then one in the morning to see what the voltage is at.

Toyota is very strict about batteries being replaced, but having too boost it in the first 3 years is not good enough.

Try contacting the service manager with a politely written email and the photo.

Looking more at this print out, it seems to be saying the voltage is good, but cranking state of health is bad. Then at the bottom looks like the warranty code.

Did they just read their receipt wrong?

    Where are our toyota techs?

MIL's RAV was in several times for battery problems (two replacements under warranty) until I got sick of dealing with them and put a new Interstate in it. No more problems.

I just put an interstate in my MIL's rav4 as well. They are the king of consumer batteries in my opinion.

This guy fucks on flat rate. I'd do the same just to avoid a boomerang, esp if the battery is that old

Bought my 2019 in July of 2019. I already had to replace the battery in less than a year and a half owning the truck. These batteries are junk.

When I got my battery warrantied, I didn't even go to the dealer. They even reimbursed me the full price of an X2 too.

For the price of a battery I'd just replace it rather than deal with the fucking idiots at a dealership

I sent my info in for reimbursement a while ago and have not heard anything since. How long did the process take for you?

How much info did you send them? There was a bit of back and forth on email about what to send and what proof they needed, but the emails stopped and eventually the check showed up in the mail. I don't really recall how long it took, but I think it took a bit.

There just being assholes and don't want to warranty it...if you test a battery after 40mins of charging of course its going to test good...the cca is way to low anyways. Find another dealer with a carbon pile battery tester. That will really show you "them" that the battery is dead.
