Thanks Eric. That's is what I was planning to do if there was no need. Right now the truck is not stands and the axle is also on stands for a gear change/fix. Figured maybe a good time to do it.

I Will be swapping to deavers, later on, are there any issues with dakar leaf packs? I know in the other setup you need to modify them a bit but recall you didn't here.

Dakars have a design flaw, its their bad design that is the cause, please search this thread for info, pics and how to modify

Thinking of doing the 3.6" shackles SOA and was wondering if it's worth it to go for Deavers leafs or stick with ICON RXT to save some money. Rig currently has steel sliders, winch, and front bumper. Rear is completely stock but will eventually get a high clear rear bumper once I bash my rear to no return.

I can’t comment on deavers but I have the Icons and they’re fantastic. Huge upgrade from the Dakar’s I had before. If you can afford it though, deavers are the best. The only con I’ve ever heard of is the price.

Deaver has better design and function. It's worth the extra money.

I haven’t had any rubbing on these Dakar’s. At this point they are a holdover for New Deavers but waiting until the new camper is ready

is it 100% they need to be trimmed? On this I would need to cut both of these if so? I’ve seen what needs to be trimmed but curious if it’s 100% needed. These are the older versions.

Kinda hard to tell but that top shackle bolt looks backwards. The head of the bolt should be facing the inside otherwise it’ll rub on the hanger.

If it’s not rubbing and it hasn’t been, it’s probably fine. Maybe it’s because of the longer shackle?

I just got them done, I haven’t really done much, it looks tight.

Anyone know how much left and right movement there is?

It's probably OK, just not best practice as the instructions direct.

Shackles (Archive and stock) rock side to side offroad or throwing truck into a corner

Is anyone having issues with the relocation, 14" shocks, hh, deaver U402s setup in a SOA application, and the shackle not flattening out?
