If it's going to be the main baby transporter, double check the base and seat will work within the backseat, especially with the front passenger seat...these car seats are HUGE in comparison to our back seat. Thankfully my wife is short, so she could deal with the cramped lackluster leg room up front!

You ain’t lying. Even in my Kia suv the car seat barely fits. It won’t fit behind me so I had to put it behind my passenger seat. Glad my wife is short.

"Fox 2.5 extended travel coilovers with 700lb springs, Fox 2.0 extended travel performance series rear shocks (one needs a recharge). 3rd gen Tacoma RCI aluminum skids, front and mid, JBA upper control arms, Wheelers super bumps, MESO V1 total tails. Suspension components have around 25-30k on them. I guess around $1500ish for all 4 shocks, $550 for skids (no damage to them), $150 for meso tails (only been on since December), $500ish for JBAs? All prices posted with expecting low balls "

Hmmm them jba's...@EatSleepTacos going from spc to jba...I guess model dependent, what's the downside re: cmc/wheel clearance and caster?

 

I went from SPCs to JBAs as well.

 

Yeah I've got the driver ball joint constantly leaking grease and haven't been able to fully resolve (haven't gotten to reseating it).

EDIT: got ucas from boogie, but replaced with new BJ 7k mi. ago. I know I've greased that bj at least half a dozen times.

 

I'm running 285/70 on 17x8.5 SCS stealth 6s which are -10mm offset and 4.30bs.

JBA spec shows happy fitment on 285/70 tire, and 17x8.5 wheel, but with -9mm offset. I guess that's really splitting hairs, since it's a mm closer to axle...so likely negligible in terms of impact in terms of wheel well clearance...otherwise sounds like a second #randyfab cmc would be on order

 

Dang it appears the suspension is sold, for curiosity’s sake let’s say it wasn’t I have a few questions for every NOVA sage out there.
1) would 700lbs coils ride pretty rough without the extras up front(skids/bumper/winch)
2) is there anywhere local to do a recharge for the suspension/how expensive is it normally
3) what are the pros/cons of running a fox extended 2.0 shock without changing the leafs
4)Is there anything I would need to be aware of to install that lift kit other than the need new UCA’s?
Yall have not led me wrong before and I really appreciate any input/advice!

Not sold! Only thing sold is LCA’s. Had a buyer for it all but they fell through. Just haven’t been able to update the post yet

 

I’m seriously considering purchasing, it’s cheaper/quicker than accutune stage 4. Just not sure about no leafs/recharging/lift and ride with 700lbs coils and no armor. I do have the Ikapmer and rack... and plan to eventually get skids/sliders might be a year or so tho. Any words of advice?

 

I can cut ya a deal for suspension AND skids.

Just a picture of it in the bed. That’s where it’s been, I have a broken wrist so I can’t carry it in the house/ was supposed to deliver it this week to the guy that flaked. It’s all been covered up from the snow we’ve been getting though. Truck isn’t my DD. (Bed rack also for sale)

I’m thinking that if I get them rebuilt they’ll be almost like a new stage 2 kit (mid travel). Hoping to get 2.5” of lift with his kit, you make good point tho mark, why does the TRD PRO and stage 2 seem so similar but one says it’ll give 2”+ more lift... off to the suspension researching abyss.

 

go with Downsouth Motorsports. Their turnaround time is 3-5 days. I just shipped my stuff out to them. Supposed to get there tomorrow
