Well, in case you were wondering @Suprajim54 you ended up 17/22. The added time bonus is wack imo. I ran a perfect run, 3 winches, in 15.5 minutes and still somehow placed 8th, behind people who hit gates. Chris mentioned if I had been 2 mins faster, I would have gotten 4th. Seems like it was more of a time trial than a crawler comp. I’m hoping the course was setup shorter/simpler than normal, due to the storms that were coming in which was the result of the super fast times.

Haven’t figured out if it’s rx or esc connections that’s messing with the bouncer. Doesn’t want to seem to fully bind. Plugged the NSDRC servo into comp truck and worked fine, so it’s def either rx or esc.

I have this @imthejaybird if it’s any help. Missing a center gear, and shaft for top gear, but present gears are metal. Has no bearings, but IS collecting dust if ya want it!

Just look at the build thread
Last of the Wraith parts were just ordered. Some random small hardware I need, some new suspension/steering links, and new body panels. Once it gets here I can install the front shocks, get the links and steering swapped out, and she'll be ready to go. Then starts the process of getting the parts together for the R1.

Bouncers back! Peeled the conformal coating off the bind button on the rx, and rebound it and it fired right up! I think when I was holding the rx and pulling the rear steer servo wires off, it must’ve jammed the button stuck, when I was swapping the rear axles. Missed the comp, but problem diverted. Considering leaving bouncer 2WS, and putting the other curries under the mega. Who knows?!

Sway bars arrived, and are assembled/installed. Wheels should be delivered today, hopefully, and can get the ag tires mounted. Boosted pinion from 14 to 17, so hopefully gain enough wheel speed that the 2200kv is enough. If this isn’t enough, depending how close we are, may try going up to 22/23t pinion before increasing motor kV.

Damn USPS keeps kicking my AMain box around the office. It was supposed to deliver last Thursday, but has been alternating between Arrived at Post Office and Out For Delivery since Friday. Bomber is down until the new hexes come in, but I'm really looking for the new crawler foams in that box.

#wheelwednesday lol. C1 body should be getting shipped back to me today, so removing the choodoo tires and putting the 4.19 landmines on the TGH wheels, removing the 4.75 landmines from ottsix wheels, and putting them on the bronze VP wheels, and just need foams for the voodoo KLRM tires to run them on the voodoo wheels. After all the disassembly, I gotta say the voodoo wheels are my favorite design. Tires can be changed with removing just 3 screws (Vanquish-5 and TGH-12). Voodooo wheels also allow for changing hubs, but uses the same hub (also adjusts with just three screws.) clocked in diff spots to adjust offset, and the voodoo wheels have beveled edges on every edge. They’re def showing the reasons they stay sold out!

NSDRC reached out yesterday, and asked which servo I preferred, and they will be sending my a freebie for testing the prototypes.

Hell yeah, Bomber is ready to bash in some snow! It's a lot faster after changing from a 12T to a 15T pinion. Also replaced a bent rear axle shaft with a Vanquish one.

Just need to pickup a spur gear while I’m out today, and the mega is back to business!

Sent it off end of Oct and finally received my c1 body back. Def happy with the results!! I told him I wanted it to look like Beavis and Butthead tagged it, and just wanted some BYS racing love. This is is the outcome! I think the wheels go perfect with the flow!
