That’s a horrible wreck on 35 an Northside

 

Well, I got the front pax side all disconnected and started on the driver's side. The same bolt that fought me on the passenger side is giving me the same kind of fight. I put my 30" breaker on it and put about 500lbs of pressure on the handle with a floor jack, heated both the head and the nut and let it sit over night.

I've got some choring to do this morning but I'll get back at it this afternoon. I don't know why I wouldn't be able to get the front axle out today. Getting it into the back of the Tundra by myself is going to be interesting, though.

Oh and I ordered the crawl box last night, it'll be here in about 2 weeks.

 

It's nasty out there guys, perfect opportunity to call in and just stay in bed. If you're going out, please be safe! Slow down and increase the following distance blah blah blah - just use your damn common sense and stay off the news!

Ya got most of the plants covered last night when I got home, will do some additional later on to ensure all is good.

 

I have always told myself if I were to be in a situation like that, exit the vehicle and jump the barrier walls immediately!!

 

I would not be out in about, I feel bad for the drivers/postal running around today, they can skip or not deliver and I would much happier if they did.
