    I better!

This project has been a combination of me building it and the owners son helping/learning to weld.

Basically we have shop class once a week. I wish he could have welded those relief cuts, but he had exams he needed to study for. Welding on dirty, thin metal is great practice. If you weld that shit, you will have no issue welding heavier stuff.

I had a great life as a welder fabricator I loved the job right up until my now ex-wife ran off with her girl friend and the money she could get her hands on.

After every thing was said and done I got another job I really loved till my body no longer could put up with the abuse.

What ever works for you it was nice to get up and look forward to going to work .

We all do what we have to.

Ive seen too many people get burned out doing what they love for others. It's a little better working for yourself, but I got tired of people calling me up a few hours after I'd finished a part of their project asking to make changes, then getting mad when I tell them I can do it but it's going to cost them since I was past that part. Between that and window shoppers who were expecting full plate bumpers for like $300 and getting shocked when i quoted them 3-5X that, I said screw it only a few months into doing side jobs.

I put some soapy water at the tank nozzle connection and sure enough, got a bubble. Got "rowdy" with it and the pressure hasn't dropped at all after about 40 min.

Awesome! Also check the welder side connection, though you're probably good.

Well I'm not sure how we got here but I'll tell you this. I appreciate you posting that deal for me. Best deal in a month. I don't care if the wheel last a hour. For a dollar, I'm a happy camper and I thank you. Only reason I use a flapper wheel is for clean up. If I have to take a weld down, or remove serious metal, I'm on a grinding wheel. Flap wheels make shit pretty. LOL

welding my ripcord camper space frame. 110v HF titanium flux core. 16 gauge square tube. Took me a few corners to dial in the power and wire speed. Plus remember technique. Frame is still square and not warped too much. Grinder and paint will make it look perfect.

After 24 hours, the pressure is still holding at 1100 psi and hasn't dropped at all. Funny because the tank nozzle connection was already pretty tight, I just turned it a fraction of a turn more but that was all it needed. Makes me think my first tank of gas would have lasted longer....
