No. All the tunes are Base tunes in the tune pack.
Premium is the octane.

Performance tunes by Mat are not out yet. Coming Soon.

 

No. The Prem tunes have the initial ignition set point for high octane fuels. The Reg tunes have the initial ignition set point for regular octane fuels. All tunes are octane learning.

The Perf tune will be released with the Final AT options.

That is the old 1.05 tune. Someone might be able to share it with you, but nearly everyone would say that the 2.0 tunes are superior.

Also note that the 1.05.1 tune was to fix AT shudder only on Tacos that had it. Otherwise, folks should use the 1.05 tunes.

Short term versus long term has always been interesting to me. I have always had odd issues with both. But then, there is some hereditary stuff in my fam. I'm hoping to dodge it.

 

What did I come on here for?

 

We want to let everyone know that while we finish up this massive update to our software, our store will temporarily be closed.
- we will still process ALL pending orders.
- we will still send and process registrations / keys etc. So please don't freak out!

The software will still be available for download + the software update(s) will be as well during the closure.


We want to take this time to accomplish 3 things
- Completely catch up on pending tickets (so when we return there is 0 pending tickets)
- Finish the software update, instructions, etc without continued delays
- Finish any current product development.


During this time anyone with our software will still fully be able to use it of course. vF Tuner updates will also be published and available for download during this time.

 

Does anyone have the stock 04B33 factory tune available for download?

See, I pulled a funny. I updated from 04B31 to 04B33. I had just gotten my tuning pack from OVtune for 04B31. Now, I'm afraid I f*cked myself on my tune pack if I ever wanted to flash one of those ever again. But I'd like to at least have the option of flashing back to the stock factory ECU settings for 04B33 in case I needed to for any reason.

Please educate my ignorant ass!

 

Stock file is included with VFTune, but if you did the tsb update, you already have it. You will need 04b33 tune pack files to tune your truck again. There is no going back to 04b31.

When you key lock a tune it is only editable by myself but would I be able to provide the tune to my buddy and have him flash to his truck?

So guys I had to reset my laptop and reinstall windows awhile ago. I got my reg key and all the software downloaded. But when I sighned back into vf with my email and master key my ecu was no longer unlocked. So I tried several different times with my email and master key but different passwords thinking maybe I had it wrong. Well after a couple times it locked me out. It won’t let me use my master key anymore. Emailed zen desk on the 5th but haven’t heard anything yet because their busy I would assume. Just wondered if I’m the only one that’s messed up like this

 

YEP! Just went through this fiasco! You will need to contact the help desk and have them unlock your vftune account, It locks you out after couple of tries. Once your account is reset use the same (email, user name, and password) you originally used the first time. OK...were I messed up was...I didn't pay attention to the user name, I thought is was prefilled IT ISN'T! If the info ISN'T correct it will ask you too use credits, so review the your info. If ALL is correct you will get in so you can work on tunes BUT NOT be able to tune your truck. SOOOO once you get you account unlocked, open the flash (click on the flash button) and you will get a NEW system ID, send that BACK to the help desk because you will need a new system REG file before you can flash your truck! The new system REG file makes vftune able to the flash manager.

Note: If your system ID is the same as your old one, you're good to go so you can reinstall your old system REG file! Mine system ID changed once I reloaded windows on my computer.
