    I had one of those.....last year of that generation 1993. I was a professional goose hunting guide at the time and it pulled a big fifth wheel trailer with minimal effort. I purchased the truck in 1997 and sold it in 2010 when I downsized to the taco.

    Amazing motor and drivetrain but everything else was junk assembled in Mexico.

    A guy was asking me about my tacoma cause he wanted to get one soon. He started telling me about how he was going to get one back in the day before they were tacomas but opted for a dodge. Says he regrets that decision because the dodge turned out to be a money pit but all they guys with same age toyotas were only putting oil in them

    Buddy of mine bought a brand new Ram and had to take his wife to the airport right after he picked it up.

    He got stranded on the 401 - lost all power... Didn't even make it there.
