Haha mine is fairly rusted so I wanted to change out the tip to something similar to what you have.

I also got my SS3 fogs and Sherpa cap rack want to start installing them today but.. its -4 outside (feels like -20) and first clip i touched shattered so looks like I'm waiting till next week when its in the teens or another week till there's 30s. I really wish I had a heated garage!

This. OEM replacements will be the highest quality and highest performing you can buy, though they are not cheap compared to aftermarket. There are part numbers in the linked thread for the TRD smoked chrome TSB headlights, links for pricing as well as output charts for comparing different bulbs for what is best in the 2nd Gen headlights.

Looking very clean! How did you decide which fog lights to install with so many options?

I just did this upgrade and it works great. Lots more visibility. In my books this is a must do upgrade if your keeping the OEM headlight assembly.

Yeah I understand how shitty the aftermarks perform. All they care about is the cool style they give.

Have you seen or reviewed the other models from Alpharex? Like these?

I wouldn't expect anything better from the LUXX projector or Pro, over the Nova. The LUXX reflector style, who knows, it could be better, it could be worse. If you're looking for BEST light output then all of these should be avoided. Think of Alpharex as a hot woman who can't perform if u know what I mean...
